tell me what is the BBcs commitment to maintaining FM broadcasts in face of the digital onslaught |

Hype & marketing I guess. |

(But then that's just me - I also don't suffer from tape hiss or 'background or surface' noise from vinyl either. In all the cases the sonic benefits far outweigh any so-called 'disadvantages!) I thought my recent acquisition of a Freeview digibox would give me a) 'acceptable' (in a sonic wallpaper sort of way) 'digital radio' and b) endless Jazz on 'Jazz FM' (FM???). Wrong (*very* wrong) on both counts! :-( |
