Etymotic ER6
I thought I'd post my first thoughts on the Etymotic ER6 "headphones"
I've just bought. If you can stand something in your ear canal (and I'm used to wearing earplugs so it's okay for me) these are superb. Better than my Grado SR60's and because they isolate (15dB?) from external sounds they're great for a noisy environment. I got them for train and air travel - superb! £88 inc shipping. |

I'll second that, got some last year - damn fine, especially for DVDs on the laptop when away from home |

I thought that Etymotics were expensive until I saw this;-) but how can that price be justified anyway? I mean, you will NEVER remove backround noise in a public environment (or even many private ones) and I have my doubts that any speaker that small can truely sound good. and the wires will break sooner or later anyway. in the home you can use proper headphones or speakers. whats the real reason people buy these things? -- Spyros lair: http://www.mnementh.co.uk/ |||| Maintainer: arm26 linux Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons, for you are tasty and good with ketchup. |
