Default Cleaning Heads in the UK!

I've run out of my dear old supply of 90% Isopropyl Alcohol - and have found
out that this essential item for tape head cleaning is NOT AVAILABLE over
the counter in the UK...

As a person who already knows those stupid "head-cleaning tapes" don't
really do such a great job, I find it odd that such a simple thing as
Isopropyl Alcohol isn't available, even at the Rx counter. At the various
"stereo" stores all one finds are drones with "just my shelf, mate" written
all over their faces when you ask what would otherwise be a simple question.

So what do intelligent people use to clean their tape heads properly here?
Has the EU has made it illegal to possess it or something? Thanks in
advance.
