A block of RCA connectors on my 8000A MkII self destructed, as they
do, and it's about time I got this sorted. Is it still possible to buy
the parts? Are they easy to fit? I only have a little experienced of
electrical work - practically none with PCBs.

**Those Audiolab RCA connectors are utter crap. Replace them all with
single, PTFE insulated types. More effort, but they will outlast this
planet.

Trevor,

I remember you mentioned this about the connectors before (either on
aus.hi-fi or uk.rec.audio, I can't find the post). Are the PTFE
insulated types available from DSE or Jaycar?
