Could anybody recommend any (mains-powered) PC speakers? I plan to use
them with an MP3 player in my kitchen instead of a radio.

TIA.

I bought some Altec Lansing Series 100, for £24 from Dabs.

I'm well pleased.

Currently listening to www.radioveronica.nl sounding good @ 96Kb/s
Unfortunately playing Phil Collins now, but next tune will be better.

Right, thanks. Could you tell me what their output power is?

Not capable of looking it up for yourself ?

And what the hell does *output power* mean in real life anyway. Never
heard of speaker efficiency ratings btw ?

Would you like someone to wipe your arse whilst they're at it too ?

So why waste someone else's time ?

Yes !

Sound pressure is a combination of electrical power to the speaker and the
conversion efficiency of the speaker too.

Crikey. Your life's work appears to be complaining about the quality of
DAB, but you are perfectly happy to have crap like this?
