I saw him *on the telly* (musta been news or local news) very upset about his dog which appears to have been snatched a few days back! Poor sod, I felt very sorry for him! Nope, didn't hear about that. Not nice, though, to lose your dog - too much like family. You can say that again! I have a little Jack Russell who's a bit 'disturbed' to say the least - I was horrified to learn (a long time afterwards) the owner of his brother who was just as bad had had him put down!! |

I've just had a call from my other half - she's in London and tells me that King's Cross Underground had been arbitrarily closed due to overcrowding and trains aren't stopping there!! This country's near meltdown and the ******* *still* keep letting them in!! Well they have to, to run the bloody underground. No other bu**ers want the job!. Odd that we can't export those jobs to China eh;?..... We don't have to - we just keep importing cheap labour (have been since the 'Industrial Revolution') without a thought (or a damn given) about the long-term effects on the country..... |

The former chief of design at YLE had 0 VU He equated this to 100km/hr:-) My now getting on a bit E39 528 seems to want to cruise at 90 mph. I've not changed it because it's the nicest car to drive I've ever owned and has given nearly no problems and still drives like new at 90,000 miles. And with cutting down, work wise, the 35k to replace it would be stupid. But a neighbour has a new 535d auto which I've driven and that is just fantastic performance wise - but not the looks. ;-) Iain -- *Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how it remains so popular?* Dave Plowman London SW To e-mail, change noise into sound. |
