update on my Bailey TL speakers
hello folks
well after much glueing and coughing ,
I have fitted the roof felt damping to all internal surfaces of my speakers.
I have got through 8 tubes of silicone and similar of Liquid Nails,
just need to cut the driver apertures, fit some terminals,
and felt to the front panel and then I can start to stuff them,
so in 2 or 3 days I should be able to listen to them at last.
I will make up a webpage soon and put some photos there.
regards malcolm

**I trust you will be bracing those cabinets. They look suspiciously like
standard 19mm chipboard/MDF to me. Not thick, or rigid enough, by far, for
the Bailey design. Don't forget to run a T-line for the midrange. It makes a
big difference. I used a tube which all the way through the enclosure.

A big difference between a TL and what?
Did you choose a TL length appropriate for the midrange driver (B110?)
or just the depth of the cabinet?
Roger.

**Yep.
or just the depth of the cabinet?
**Yep. With the right amount of stuffing, it works a treat. In truth, the
length of the tube is such that it is probably working as an infinite open
baffle.
