So basically you use your browser to view your e-mail? That was all I

I can see all my unread and not yet removed from the server POP3 mail with a
browser too !

Well, if you call making a menu selection a "horrible hack" :-)

POP with "leave message on server" works perfectly well for a single
user with multiple computers.

His point is that, without the flags and stuff that IMAP has, you're
managing different inboxes, each with their own sets of message
read/unread/etc status flags.

It works for me !

Don't forget that with POP3 you always have the option

You can, but... it's a hack.

It's in OE's options FFS !

Chill Graham. He means he thinks it is a hack, figuratively speaking.

I think that is a good thing.

I'm perfectly chilled Arny. Just perplexed at the nonsense that some ppl
choose to post.

Same here. Although I rarely use the facility. That's what I wondered what
all the fuss was about. Don't think I can access it from my mobile phone,
though.

I also have found it awkward that Jonathan put the bin right next to

You've got me confused now, Jim. ;-)

To save a draft I just click on the delete cross and the popup gives
you the choice of discarding or saving the draught.

I was referring to the queue. i.e. having written and 'sent' something so
far as Pluto is concerned, you can then click on the 'Q' to see a list of
outgoing messages. This window shows the bin rather close to the tick.

Ah. Never had that problem. On my version there's quite a gap between
thw bin and tick. But I can't remember if it has been moved from earlier
versions.
