Hi just purchased from a market the above Pre & Power Amp very cheap
I remember these were quality Amps, I had one of their Signal
Generators years ago, made in the same case as the P51
Question is I have Kef 105 series3 Speakers these are rated at 4
ohms and current greedy , so I am reluctant to try them,
Anybody driven these Amps hard into 4 ohms and did they cope OK
Also I know they are rare and sort after ,what do you think would be
a sensible reserve on Ebay, should I sell them

Have a look at 120035205868 on ebay - I sold a set recently for 250UKP.
I gather the class A versions are more sought after.
I thought they were fine with some pretty hard to drive Dynaudio 42s,
but not up to the reference that is valve :-)
If you want manuals I can email electronic copies to you - there's
quite a bit about the technical do-das.

Hi Thanks for your reply, those were yours were they , thought they go
for more than that, this one went for 700 AU dollars power amp alone

I have the silver C21 Pre Amp so might make a slight difference
In 1977 Myself and a friend started Enigma Audio in Hove, with the
Enigma Variations range ,and Sugden ,Quad ,Lecson, and Naim were some
of the competition, I seem to remember our 100 watt Power Amp, in mine,
and others peoples opinion, knocked the socks of it for bass response
and shear grunt, mind you we had a huge power supply, DC coupled output
,and mj10005x and the other polarity output devices,
Our amp could double power into 4 ohms , this has not got the output
stage to handle that sort of power , the Supply Fuses are only 2 amp ,
Are your Dynaudio 8 ohm or 4
Manuals would be great please ,that is a working addy ,
Do you need power and the LT from power amp connected for the preamp to
function , seems odd ?
Many thanks once more, just noticed clock , time for a beer :-)
