If you have the slightest interest in audio quality then I suggest you

Hi

Are you saying that the quality with radio on Freeview is pretty dire?

I do want good quality sound.

Thank you

Unless policy has changed recently (and don't think it might not:-)
DAB has opted to use its bandwidth for lots of channels rather than
lots of quality. Freeview radio sounds better.

Yes its the usual quantity over quality issue...

This site has quite a bit of info on the subject..

The quality on DAB with the exception of Radio 3 is very poor. Freeview
and Digital satellite is better on the BBC channels. The TV sound on
digital TV is sometimes very good especially on BBC 4 TV

For very high "digital" quality you have to look to Europe for better)
