Phase II of my eBay clearances is nearly complete with only the trusty
Trio not yet bidded for (or sold). Some really nice guy has sent me
this:

"Hi. I have picked your ad as one of our top 3 eBay ?Catches of the day?
on my blog site. I hope the mention on our site enhances your chances of
a sale at the price you are expecting. You can see it he

http://blog.listencarefully.co.uk/?p=1528

Good luck. Sincerely. Howard Popeck.

PS I have owned and used one of these since 1980. Never heard FM better
than this!"

How nice is that?

See it here with my reply:

(Phase III next week - spare carts possibly and *maybe* a couple of
valve amps....??)

(Phase IV week after that - shrapnel...!! :-)

Hi, Yes I know of Howard Popeck. I believe that he used to run a high
end hifi store in Camden town called Subjective audio(next door to the
Camden palace).Funny enough the company I worked for back then (circa
1986/7) took over the lease on the store and turned it into a satelite
store of Hifi Experience (Tottenham Crt Rd).I was manager at that
Camden store at about 1990. It was later sold to Superfi. I believe
Howard left to start up somewhere in North London selling kit.
