Hi Everyone,

I hope that the link below works, usually whenever I try links they
become disjointed.

My question is this. I want to put my records onto my computer then
transfer them onto CD's as a backup.

I don't want to go to the expense of purchasing a USB Record Deck so
I was thinking that one of the following items may do the job.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/USB-2-0-VIDEO-...QQcmdZViewItem

Has anyone every used one of these...? and if so, what format will it
save audio files into please.

I got the VideoXpress similar unit by ADSTech from Expensive World -
think it was £17.99 - and I've done five of the six Michael Wood - Story
of India progs from my PVR with no problem.

Like anything else much of it is down to the quality of the software
that comes with it. The package that came with this one is not the most
obviously easy prog to use (I have a suspicion the original was French)
but it does the job.

If you've got it already captured on your PVR, why not just burn a DVD-RW
and rip that with your DVD drive and appropriate software on your PC?
