Found that MD - but it's in poor condition
Why is optical media so efffing ****e ? ?
Will transcribe ASAP.

Or even normal DAT. I once made the error of using a 120 minute tape to
save me the bother of changing it mid-performance. Big mistake.

When Richer Sounds were clearing out those DCCs, I got one. The tapes seem
to self-erase after a couple of years.
Had trouble with Exabyte data storage tapes too.

120 minute DAT tapes used the same thickness of tape as shorter lengths so
they should be just as reliable as shorter tapes. Or are you mixing up
minutes with metres? 120 minutes = 60 metres of tape. You can buy 90 metre
tapes which are intended for computer DAT drives and possibly longer.

I've been using MDs from shortly after they came out and haven't had any
problems with them.
