It's a small sample, and possible self-selecting, but all my friends with
4000DS decks were gay, and those with A77s were very gay.

Possibly all your friends were gay?

David.

What's the difference between gay and very gay?

And what make of R to R appealed to non gays?

Hang on, what gay are we talking about here?

1. Happy
2. Homosexual
3. Rubbish

This word seems to change meaning every 20 years or so.

I have a working '8-track' player/recorder and would happily dub it off to
any standard you want. Even Elcassette. ;-)

Oh happy days... had an 8 track in my DB5, speakers in the rear arm rests.
sounded OK to me (but this was the seventies) and over any kind of bump the
cassette fell out. And there was one in the pilots' mess at Biggin Hill;
unfortunately there was only one tape, and it played "Tears of a Clown"
interminably. Must be a whole generation of aeroplane drivers out there who
can sing along to it....

How do you feel about the Teac A-2300?

None of my friends had one but if it only takes 7 inch reels then it's
only slightly gay. :-)

What do those who use 3. call homosexuals?
