My mind is boggling on so, so many levels.


Well - actually, a proper bachelor would save the 8-tracks for the car,
and I'm sure it would be a Mazda with the gearshift on the steering
column.

In the bachelor pad itself, a reel-to-reel machine would be the chief
delivery mechanism for the Bert Kaempfert and James Last. Maybe the
bachelor would even have one of those dinky new Compact Cassette
players.

Anyway, the tapes are there for anyone who wants them. I see that people
sell them on eBay still, but for a couple of pounds each it hardly seems
worth it. I spotted them in a charity shop - they were just about to get
rid of them.
