Default Philips CD service manuals

Used to service Magnavox. adjusting requires scope and patience. basically
adjust until Lissajous pattern is correct. Can't hejp beyond that but is
easily doable with manual and scope

Sorry to bother. Has anyone the philips service manual for a cd 620 or
cd 630 or anything that has same mechanism and pcb (like marantz
cd40/50/60 ...)

Thank you.

Frank

You bought a Phillips - LOL LOL
Still, no accounting for taste.

Never bought a Phillllllllllllips. A friend gave me a cd620 because he
found it somewhere and told me the laser was dead. Obviously there is a 1%
possibility that a laser fails in those players and now it's working like
a new unit just turning the focus pot by ear. I was just curious to learn
the official way to set the pots for focus and gain and then I'll mod that
thing to bring out the most from that 1541. So now I have knowledge and
taste and patience and a new player ... and our friend none of theeeeeeese
and no sense of humor either. And what about my spelling so fluent and
charming ...

P.S. By the way, good answer Serge.
