No idea where the original mention of Izotope RX is, so I've started another
thread. (Wot new?)
By way of (hopefully interesting) feedback after Don's timely
recommendation, here are some 'cuts' of 'digitised vinyl' from the Melodious
Thunk 'Brilliant Corners' album that have had the Izotope 'de-clicking'
treatment.
(No idea how old the vinyl is - I suspect it's an 80's disc, but the
recordings were made in December 1956!)

The music may not be to everybody's taste but I think these clips
demonstrate the ability of modern 'de-clicking' software compared to the
'Surform' variety of the bad old days!
