Guide price for Quad ESL 57 speakers

Having finally succumbed to a new pair of loudspeakers (Quad ESL 2805), I
now have a pair of black Quad electrostatics (ESL 57) for sale. However,
I only have a vague idea as to what would be a fair price for these.
There do not seem to be many of them sold these days in the usual places,
like EBay, and asking prices of the few I have seen have varied greatly.
I have had the speakers for around twenty years and would ideally like
them to go to a good home where they would be used and enjoyed. They were
cleaned internally and serviced a few years ago and are in good working
order. The serial numbers differ by two and I believe they were
manufactured in the late 1970's.
Any advice on pricing would be much appreciated.
I got my set for about 400 UKP and they work. The sidepanels needed to be sanded and
stained, which I did. The feet exhibit chipping at the bottom which I will address on
a later ocasion. I think they were priced right according to what they were and the
work needed. They do feature IEC power sockets which are so much better than anything
used in the olden days.
Mine is the gold set, and I used a bottle of Victorian Mahoganny for staining applied
gently with a brush. have not obthered to laquer the panels afterwards as they look
fine on their own. I never put my fingers on them anyway as I like to use the part on
top at the middle where it appears the wood is meant to grip onto.
In all fairness I'd have bought them at 500 pounds too in above condition.
