Default New page on USB transfer of audio

Hi,

Just to let people know about a page I've just put onto my website at

http://www.audiomisc.co.uk/Linux/Sou...ForChange.html

This looks at how uniformly timed audio data replay is when using USB. It
uses a new measurement method I devised as I wasn't happy that the common
methods people have been using are ideal for this. The results compare a
direct USB connection and using a Halide Design 'Bridge' into a DACMagic.

All being well, I'll also put up a page giving the details of how the
measurement method works when I get a chance. [1] Although people with a
background in comms may be able to guess this from my choice of 'IQ-Test'
for the approach. I chose this name as it is also a joke with the name of
the 'J-Test'. ;-)

Slainte,

Jim

[1] This involves some 'hard sums', etc, so I decided it made sense to
seperate explaining the method from the results.
