Default Unable to access DRM protected Napster wma tracks.

I have 60 plus wma tracks downloaded during 2009/2010 from Napster.
When I try to play any of them I get a message indicating that the DRM
information cannot be accessed. When Napster was acquired by Rhapsody
I backed up the DRM licence files via Windows Media Player.

Unfortunately MS have since amended Windows Media Player and it can no
longer access backup licence files and Napster/Rhapsody are not
interested in the problem.

Given this I appear to have just two options - purchase replacement
tracks or buy an audio file converter that is capable of removing the
DRM constraint.

In the event that anyone is able to recommend such a converter (or an
alternative approach) I would be very grateful.

Why don't you try using an old media player.

Thanks for the suggestion. AFAIAA the latest version of WMP that
supported DRM file reinstall was WMP 9 which is unfortunately not
compatible with my OS - Win7.

I'm not sure if I tried to run my W98 player in W7, but it works in XP.

I downloaded WMP 9 and tried to install it but Win 7 refused to accept
it - just pop-ups indicating incompatibility.

Have you tried other players, like Real Alternative?
