Call the council noise complaints
I don't know if e any of you caught this series, but i listened to a couple
where the council left, presumably calibrated recording equipment with
residents to try to find out if the noise they claimesd was ruining their
lives was against the law.
In both cases, it seems the actual recording did not show a very loud
sound. To me this would point to perhaps structure borne sound or some kind
of resonant point in a house that amplified the sound, yet no mention was
made of this or attempt made to actually listen at the times it was supposed
to be worst.
I've always had my doubts about this sort of evidence. any comments?
The most problematic one was a noisy extractor fan in the next flat, the
other a kind of metal milling company who worked around the clock.
