Default Alphason Tonearm ...

I've just had a Linn Sondek LP12 cross my bench for checking over. It is a
'lucky find' for its current owner, and he is going to be moving it on
shortly (as you would ! )

It's fitted with an Alphason Delta tonearm and a Blue Point (No 2 ?)
cartridge, which doesn't have a replaceable stylus. I say "No 2 ?" because
it 'looks' like one of those, but doesn't actually say that on it. Most
images on the 'net do show it with that legend on the front, but I found one
being advertised in America that looks exactly like the one fitted to the
deck I'm looking at, It says nothing on the front other than "BLUE POINT".

Neither me nor the owner are familiar with either the tonearm or the
cartridge. Obviously, he would like to know just what it is that he's got,
so that he can ask the right money for it.

So, anyone familiar with either of these items, and like to venture any
thoughts on quality / performance / second hand desirability - value ?

TIA

Arfa
