Oh yes? Well you have more faith than I have. Besides intermittent faults
are a pain in the wotsit as we all know. Disturb the beast and it goes away
for weeks.

It sounds to me like a digital link issue to me. This might be why they
say the transmitters are fine. Of course nobody actually listens to it
and even if they do, they probably would not know where to start looking
for the issue.
