Question - how do you killfile posters?
 

Is there a reason you use AOL? Your posts stand out on here as being
rather difficult to read in context due to the lack of conventional format.

I guess I just signed up because £19.99 was a good rate a year ago. If I shift,
I'm stuck with all my addresses in AOL format, so I have to negotiate salvaging
all those. Bit complicated. I do get a lot of criticism for using AOL -
probably the same stuff you are referring to - posts come out irregularly. In
their favour they have good firewalls, and I get almost no spam and - touch
wood - no viruses so far.

I used KFs a while back and then cleared them all out. I rediscovered the
Wondrous Joy Of Binning a couple of nights back and there's a couple in
there already (*no* prizes for guessing :-). This morning's 'pink tide of
brown stuff' had me reaching for the lever again, but I'll stay the hand
until I've had a look at some of it - although not expecting anything of
much interest, needless to say.....

The great thing with OE is that it scrapes all the crap off your machine if
you do finally get fed up with someone. The poor standard of snipping, as
you say, will give you enough to throw the odd rock at, if the urge takes
you. (On that subject, do I spy that the Pink Prat has started snipping
again after I named him yesterday???)

I suspect 'most people' don't give a toss and simply use the mail software
that came with their machine when it was delivered.

Simple...

1) Get rid of AOL
2) Choose any number of competent, standard ISPs who allow you to use
any software to access any of their services.
3) Download Forte's Free Agent.



Better yet, drop your PC into the nearest wheelie bin/river/skip and 'get a
life'......
