Default Meridian M3 problem

I have a pair of Meridian M3's that have given good service for many years
however I have lost treble on one speaker, swapping leads outputs etc.
does not move the problem so it has to be the speaker.

Now apparently if I want Boothroyd Stuart to look at them I have to go
through an approved outlet, I think this means the cost is going to
be prohibative, and frankly no matter how much I like them I am not
inclined to throw lots of money at them, but I dont want to change them
either! So to my question:

Can anyone reccomend a person who can inspect and repair the speakers? or
has anyone had experiance with such an issue? I live in North Bedfordshire.

TIA.
