That, too, was noted in my message. Unfortunately, too few home
theaters are so treated.


Really applies to any room for serious listening. The present fad for bare
wood floors, shutters rather than curtains and minimalist furniture does
sound no favours.

I've found a way of doing it. You disconnect all the speakers except
the centre one. You get all of the dialogue (and it is audible) and
none of the crap.

Brilliant - most films are vastly improved.
