I looked in there briefly - it's worse than this place!

Yes, there are occasional - *issues*. Oddly, it has some of the same
distinctive features as this one: some genuine mental health issues,
oddball non-UK-based contributors with bees in their bonnets, harmless
monomaniacs.....

Seems to be a *feature* of 'technical' groups. :)

Or 'technical people' in general interest groups....??

We all know the type. Typically it's the only male staff member in an
elementary school. Big expert on all things technical. Gets VERY
nasty when challenged.

I have no idea. You may be right. I notice your pronoun is without a
referent, but I guess you aren't talking about Atkinson. Or were you
including him? It takes two to tango.

I don't know. Is Atkinson abusive on newsgroups? And, his audiophile
religion apart, is he consistent?

I really don't think that's true.

More please....?

I think that words can hurt and harm people, and that there are some
damaged and easily-harmed people around.

Such people probably shouldn't enter a boxing ring then :-) Or would
you like censorship?

Good point..Now you come to mention it.

Not a clue, I'm afraid. Does he even post on news groups? If I edited
an audio magazine I would steer clear of them, that's for sure.

But was it a pretty female goat? I wouldn't like to think you were
some sort of pervert.

But *I'M* his daddy :-)

You need a size smaller for goats, their back legs are skinnier than a
sheep's. Don't you find the beard a bit of a passion killer though?

It only takes one wellie. And he isn't kissing that end.

He does occasionally post, and, no, he's not abusive save for the odd
slip every decade or so.

Wasn't there one forum that COULD ban Arny, and did? I know he
wriggles hard when it's mentioned.

Given that Daniele posted this:
"Yes, there are occasional - *issues*. Oddly, it has some of the same
distinctive features as this one: some genuine mental health issues,
oddball non-UK-based contributors with bees in their bonnets, harmless
monomaniacs, and - well, you get the picture."

and then this:
"I think that words can hurt and harm people,"

I'm just feeling that we might have been trolled.
