This from the one who always said 'even the postman agreed' when
describing the wonderful sound of his latest home made speaker. Which was
improved the next week. And the one after. Then finally scrapped.

Are you referring to Arny's bleating about 'adversity
therapy' when he was getting his arse kicked a few days
ago?? (They can dish it out....)

Hmm, there are a few of delusional crazies around here who have nothing to
do about brag about their bad manners and mistreatment of others.

Sadly you can't see the point. There are over 30,000
newsgroups and many dedicated to music. If it is music
you're interested in why not choose one of those to use,
rather than one which is not?

In general, people who go on and on about music on audio groups fear to post
their tripe on music groups due to the larger number of people on music
groups who actually are knowledgeable about music.

So music is not part of audio..well well, you live and learn. Of course
the real reason music talk offends you could be that it brings out
feelings of inadequacy.

Pay attention at the back, I haven't been involved in any of the musical threads
because I don't do music...I'm the least musically talented person you'd ever
meet. However that doesn't mean I get my knickers in a twist [like you] when
other more fortunate people do talk about it HERE. And don't give me that OT
******** either, the whole recent photo editing thread was totally OT but I
didn't see you climbing out of your pram about that. You see it's really about
personalities isn't it Dave..you want to have your way and you want to be a net
bully when people *you* don't approve of post...pretty sad behaviour.

We've noticed that technical talk has that effect on
you, Iain, and Kitty,

Annals of Usenet. Volume 5.

1. A poster who's taken a beating in previous threads
will resort to using the royal 'we' in his posts as he
will *imagine* that this will confer some extra authority

authority you so badly want to appear to be.

Projecting again huh Amy?

He bought a booklet of 'Smart Remarks' off eBay some time back and is slowly
working his way through them....

Hey, Arny! If you are trying to impress Brits in their *own language try it
this way:

"You have a long way to go to be the authority you appear to so badly want
to be."

OK? Got it, do you think?

There's a good chap....

(I'd have used the word 'become' myself, but there ya go... ;-)

The truth is Ickle Whiney ******** would rather see this group grind to a
standstill (again) than see it stray too far from his own narrow 'work
experiences'. But take no notice of the hypocritical BS he spouts - he joins
in OT and 'blogging' stuff quick enough if it suits him so to do!

If you think not, test him with a little general 'DIY car maintenance
post'....

;-)

Yeah it's a syndrome I've seen in other groups, the self appointed
cyber-prefects would rather have no posts at all than any OT ones. [Posts from
*their* buddies excepted]. Sad really, it shows they have started thinking of
the group as *their* property, as if a usenet group could be.

See you've conveniently edited out the dictionary definition of audio
while leaving earlier bits in. Typical.

I don't read every thread here and certainly wouldn't remember your
