A bit of a long shot but...

....I wonder if anyone here can identify these speakers by looking at
them? I purchased them cheaply from an auction a few years ago. I /have/
opened them up before but I'm afraid that I can't remember much about
them. They had a couple of large capacitor type things inside (they were
bolted in place and the bolts were loose, so I had to hand tighten them
to stop the speaker from cutting out at volume).

Obviously, they are floor standing and three way. They are a bit short
of my hip in height.

Prior to this, I only had experience of budget hifi bookshelf speakers
and various dodgy wooden cased two way speakers from 70's all-in-one
'music centres' purchased from car boot sales.

They are the best sounding speakers that I have had so far. Comparing
them to friend's systems, these speakers sound great. In particular,
drums sound very 'real' and full.

I'm just curious to know what they are and how they sound compared to
other (more expensive) speakers. Apologies for the low quality of the
photos.
