It's hardly "consent" when the other choice is life in prison.

I didn't describe that circumstance. If a person is found guilty of a
crime, they should serve the time. No doubt a convict can consider
taking various courses of action to moderate their behaviour, which
would be taken into account by the parole board.

Getting back to the main point, I've heard many psychs and shrinks say
what Bruce did, i.e. that pedophilia is "inherited". Same with other
child abuse. If Krooger would just admit he was a victim, maybe the
rest of the world would cut him a break.
