Default Too damn old for this silliness...


Nick has very kindly loaned me his superb Behringer ECM 8000 measurement mic
for me to do my speaker investigations and a very handy disk with test tones
and various tracks on it - including some 'bangs' which, of course, are only
there to entertain immature types who never got over such silly, schoolboy
stuff....

.....so, here are two versions of the same 3 short tracks (machine gun,
Chieftain tank, thunderclap) recorded open mic:

They are different amp/speaker pairings, otherwise all else is the same for
both trax and the recording level shenanigans were as much a bugger as they
have been on my little lapel mic!

Anybody care to pick the 'better one'...??

(Headphones on and wick 'em up for best effect!!... ;-)
