I've no idea what a piece of wire attached to a croc clip at one end and
a piece of rosewood (possibly containing silicon wafers?) connected to
the chassis of your Hi-Fi item is supposed to do. Presumably nothing as
they thoughtfully add the following caveat..

"Pls note : We can't 100% gurantee the Ground box have the expected
effect, because it is Subjective feelings,Different person, different
device, different condition and enviroment can let the respond
different, someone respond the ground box with great effect, another
person respond the box with little effect"

Makes 'running in' speaker cables seem positively sane!

That's twice Brilliant Pebbles has been used as Snake Oil. It was also
a part of Ronald Reagan's Star Wars nonsense.

Also the translation suggests that it was not exactly a native English
speaker doing it.
Its probably a counterpoise.

Worrying thing is about Russ, a bit like David Icke, he has come to believe
his own claptrap.
OK here is a good one for you. Remove earth connection from my Rogers Cadet
and replace it by a 1 meg restore. Then use the earth from a vintage graphic
equaliser SEA10 by JVC to earth the system. Result halving of the 50 hz
buzz.
I only want 200 quid for this half watt 1 meg resistor.
grin.

People found that believe and peddle in this clearly meaningless
twaddle, should be forced to surrender any gained school or college
examination certificates; assessed as a high insurance risk; not to have
responsibility for raising or teaching others; and, (importantly) should
be disbarred from voting in elections or taking any employment funded by
the state.

We should thus have three tax bands.

- Fuel/Food/Necessities tax,
- Luxuries tax (VAT)
- Vanity tax. Goods for stupid people and their predatory traders.

The last should be set at a high rate (say 40%), but a discount back
down to VAT can be gained by making a full stated public disclosure of
the purchase (for great ridicule, of course) in the announcements
section of the London Gazette.

Those don't work anyway! You need the silver wire version;
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Audio-Grou...r/282511578977
This version is much better. It's a top seller having sold more than 3 times
as many as the copper wire version.

But if the croc clip isn't silver as well then....

The people who peddle it may well be aware that it's nonsense.

The problem with this is defining what a luxury is.

Harold Wilson had that problem, defined it as anything to do with the
leader of the opposition's hobbies.
