But it is still chuckable - and of course there is the handbrake.

They took the fun out of driving when front wheel drive became popular.
Nowt so satisfying as drifting it around a bend on opposite lock. Good
pose too :)

True - I did my early driving in Mk I Escort rally cars around the
forests. I have to say though that with a car like the S4, exploring
the limits on public roads is not good for the nerves.

Obviously not a company car then :-)

Not so - that's a function of poor weight distribution and or poor
suspension design. The natural reaction for any body is to continue in a
straight line.

You don't understand the dynamics of cornering.

Or you don't understand the dynamics of a well balanced road car. Twitchy
handling may be fine for the track or a bit of fun, but is a no-no for
everyday use. As Audi found out...

Yup, the better modern road cars are just *way* too grippy to discover
what the handling is like in the dry! Once either end lets go, you've
got less than a second before you're off the black and in the brown
stuff.......

Who said it was? You do remember me referring to "fun" didn't you?

As ever the single-minded approach eh?

As ever, the rapid change of subject when caught out............

You don't actually know a damn things about cars or driving, now do
you?

Ah cars, such quaint forms of transport, performance wise. Why would
anyone want to know owt about them?

We all know that the pedal cycle is the only way to travel.
