What's that all about then?)) It's all nonsense. Napoleon was actually English. No he wasn't - and he wasn't French either. (Here's an interesting fact for you - Napoleon made the nations he 'conquered' drive on the right hand side of the road, just to rub their faces in it. We drive on the left hand side......... ;-) |

Now I must admit that my history skills are very poor, so could someone just remind me of any war where the US won all on their own? Yes, there was one - The American Civil War...... |

Stiff upper lip and all that rot! Anybody got a clue WTF this **** is going on about? What wars.....??? (We *lost* a war? - When did that happen? Why wasn't I told? - Actually, forget that, the French actually *won* a war??? What's that all about then?)) Pity the sad state of British education. You could start with William the Conqueror- technically I suppose. http://www.britishbattles.homestead....frenchwars.htm HTH! It does. Now go to that page and seach (Ctrl F) for: "In many ways, England's victory set the stage for the American Revolution." and give some to consideration to the fact that this little country (UK) has probably been the most steadfast and dependable friend you Yanks have ever had (or ever will have). The really good news is that this 'special relationship' will be affected *not* one iota by all your pathetic attemps to niggle a few Brits with silly little references to skirmishes that were not much more than family squabbles (and which provided more long-term employment than even your own SETI project of more recent years)..... Now get a life, you sad little ****. |

They still speak Italian on island I believe. Very good and almost correct. Corsica is bilingual - French (the official language) and a Tuscan dialect of Italian. |
