A year ago I found out that some car DVD players can also play CD-MP3... I never discovered why they couldn't play DVD-MP3, since they could read DVDs. I wonder if by now there is such a device, does anyone know? Thanks

Does alpine mp3 car radio's have a gap in between tracks?? I usually have cd's like ministry of sound and clubland as mp3's to save space, but with mp3, there are always gaps in between tracks and i dont like that. Kenwood i hear are good, so a kenwood radio is so far top of my list, but i do like alpines! Stuart

I have a CDA-9833 which supposedly has 4v pre-out, however Alpine customer support have told me to set my amp imput to be 0.1-1v after I had problems getting my amp and sub working at a volume above a wisper.
