Bought some infinity 5000 front mids for my saxo vtr (52 plate) got them installed perfectly fine, jsut cant figure out why when the volume is above 9 on my head unit it crackles in both the infinity speakers in the front and the factory standards in the back. cant seem to find anything that would give off interference. any ideas guys? --

Does anyone know if there's a car stereo on the market that will play MP3's from a DVD+R/RW and that comes with DAB radio (if not, just one that play's MP3 DVD's)? I've had a look around but they all seem to be DVD Video compatible aswell, which is not something i want, and bumps the price up. Anything around the £500 mark would be great. Cheers

Anyone else using a Sony CDX-T70MX its the 6 disc MP3 player Xplode model.. I am finding that what ever I do to burn CD's it skips some parts of tracks, like as if the CD was jumping, a slight pause. I have phoned Sony tech support who were "concerned" of the problem and asked me questions like what bit rate do I use and Do I close the session after writing the CD. I own a car which has a Laserline alarm fitted, the model No that is written on the siren is “948”. The alarm has false alarms caused by over sensitive ultrasonic detectors. Covering the sensors caused the false alarms to stop. Hi, I am considering buying a couple of headrest monitors and a DVD player which will be fitted in my boot. However, I am useless at fitting things like this. Can anybody give me a very rough ball park figure for what I should expect to pay somebody to fit this for me in the UK?? Thanks

The Sony 10 disc changer in my 6yr old Scenic has finally given up the ghost, it's giving E-04 errors meaning dirty/upside down disc. In reality I think it means the laser's shagged, but I can understand Sony now wanting to put that into their manual. Anyway, the changer is a CDX-505RF it has a separate hideaway unit with rf modulator, and then a mini panel near the car's ashtray to change...

What size are the speakers in the front and back? 6x6? Hello, I use a PDA with gps navigation installed in my car. I also have a Sony CDX-MP40 stereo. The stereo has an ATT lead and the PDA has a stereo headphone jack. I was wanting to connect the audio from the PDA to my stereo and somehow incorporate the attenuate function so that my stereo will attenuate when I receive voive commands from the GPS. Hi My Passat has a VW Gamma head unit with a VW single CD player mounted in the dash. The CD player has the facility to switch between itself and a changer. I have a Sony 6 disc changer that came out of my last Passat which I would like to fit, the local VW dealership tells me it is not possible to do this which seem strange as the single CD player obviously has the capability. Any ideas...
