My nephew has just bought his first car - 1995 Renault Clio and wants to add a meaty sound system to it. He bought an older car to save £500 for the sound system. He doesn't need a multi-changer but would like a "flashy" head unit with sub, amp and speakers. Any sugguestions greatly appreciated!!

Hi I have just bought a kenwood 7027 cd reciever and its stuck in demo mode. No matter how many times I press 5 and the reset button, as per the manual. I have even disconnect the battery but still no joy. Any body have any ideas how else I can get it out of demo mode. Thanks satpal

Well, I took the plunge and fitted the sony XSF1731s to my 306. I was pleased that they fitted straight into the doors with no cutting etc. (For those of you interested the original speakers have a mounting depth of 62.5mm) All was well until I turned the volume up! Crackle or what! The original speakers are 25w rms, the new speakers are rated at 30w.

Hi all, I have just become the proud owner of my wife's Zafira, into which I would like to install the Sony HUD and 10-CD changer from my old car. The HUD is no problem, I can figure out the wiring and as far as I can tell there is choice of two steering control adapters, depending on whether I want to include the remote display or not.
