Alpine Type E Speakers in a Rover 25? by [email protected]
Hello all, I have bought a pair of Alpine Type E speakers to put in my Rover 25, and being the newcomer to car audio that I am, I find that though on the box it says they are compatible with my Rover, they in fact are not compatible with the adapter that plugged onto the old speakers I can best show this in a diagram: img src="http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/7370/

Hands free car kit not powering up by Dr Zoidberg
A couple of weeks ago I bought a Sony Ericssson car kit from someone I know. First time I connected it up it worked for 10 minutes then when I turned the car off and restarted it - nothing. Thinking I might have pulled a wire loose somehow I removed the whole thing and retested it and it's been refusing to play nicely ever since. To power it , there are three wires - Black for earth - Red...

Clarion PU-2294B(D) user manual by Walyd
Hi, Does anyone have Clarion PU-2294B(D) user manual? or Can anyone tell me how to de-activate security code request? P.S I know the security code of my system. But I don't want it to keep on asking code whenever I switch it on..it is getting really annoying. Thank you in advance.

GPS antenna cables for Becker Traffic Pro? by Michael Kilpatrick
Blimey, I really don't believe that all this internet-hunting has led me nowhere. I'm looking for an easily accesible retailer/internet shop that can provide a 5m extension cable for the GPS antenna of my Becker Traffic Pro system. I want to be able to use the Becker unit in either of my two cars so I need a duplicate set of connectors: ISO power/speakers plug, antenna extension and spare...

Dension ICELink by D.M. Procida
The Dension ICELink Plus I have has a firmware version C1.0, and no Update option in its menus... this suggests that I seem to have a firmware version which can't be updated! Is there any way out of this? Thanks, Daniele

CD/radio head unit problems - suggestions on how to diagnose? by D.M. Procida
The Visteon CD/radio unit in my 2002 FIAT Stilo failed to turn on with the car the other day, and has resolutely failed to do so since. No lights come on, and there's no other sign of life from it. The appropriate fuse in the fuse panel is OK, as is the fuse on the back of the unit. I checked the power reaching it from the cable loom. There are four connectors, which deliver approximately:

Peugeot 405 radio removal - stuck half way - HELP! by Matt
I have recently got a 1996 405 GLX Auto Estate and I wanted to replace the stereo. I worked out how to remove the stereo from this excellent site http://www.carstereohelp.org/stereoremoval/Peugeot405UKStr.htm However, the radio only comes out about half way and then no more. At this point, the power goes off, so I would image the wires are being pulled tight/out. No matter how hard I pull on...
