Connects2 adapter broken?? by Him Off De Telly
Gotta Sony cd changer in the boot with a Connects2 adapter to link it to the wiring harness in the boot. It seems to be dead - having been erratic recently. Display just says CHANGER then reverts to the radio. I have tried different CDs, even tried an identical Sony cd changer. Could the problem be the Connects2 adapter itself? Is there any way of checking this? I suppose it could be the...

What Are Power Caps? by WiNgNuTz
Hi, I know this might sound like a bit of an odd question, but what exactly does a power cap do? Is it something worth having in a simple amp/sub/6x9's boot install, or is it more suited to bigger systems? Thanks for your help.

Hi guys, had this unit for a few years connected to a CDX656 changer. the radio recently has started to drift from the tuned channel and then just hisses until turned off and then for a short while it works again. everything else works ok, it was suggested that the car aerial could be at fault, but i have just got a new ignis and it still does it. anyone know if its a minor repair or scrap...

Hi hope someone can help? I have an old kenwood head unit which i'm trying to wire to the mains via a transformer. The head unit is obviously 12v (well 14.4v) and 10A and the transformer i have at the moment is a 230/240v to 12v with a max load of 75VA on each of the two windings. Hope someone understands this look forward to any replies. Cheers.

Freelander stereo removal by Dr Zoidberg
My dad's freelander has a stereo with just a single round hole on either side. Using one prong of the normal twin hole removal tool doesn't budge it. Any clues? Preferably in the next half hour ;0) -- Alex Piece by piece the penguins have taken my sanity

JVC head unit won't turn on by ITM
I'm having problems with a JVC KD-DV6201 head unit fitted in an Alfa 147. I had the unit installed and working fine, then one morning it wouldn't power up. I know that there is power getting to the head unit: If I press the "disp" key on the front panel of the JVC the clock on the head unit would illuminate for a few seconds, then go out. It will also accept and reject discs without any problem....

What is the easiest way to add rear speakers to an Octavia. by Elder
It seems that Skoda didn't even deem it necessary to add wiring to the ISO for the rear speakers, never mind anywhere else.
