Gotta Sony cd changer in the boot with a Connects2 adapter to link it to the wiring harness in the boot. It seems to be dead - having been erratic recently. Display just says CHANGER then reverts to the radio. I have tried different CDs, even tried an identical Sony cd changer. Could the problem be the Connects2 adapter itself? Hi hope someone can help? I have an old kenwood head unit which i'm trying to wire to the mains via a transformer. The head unit is obviously 12v (well 14.4v) and 10A and the transformer i have at the moment is a 230/240v to 12v with a max load of 75VA on each of the two windings. I'm having problems with a JVC KD-DV6201 head unit fitted in an Alfa 147. I had the unit installed and working fine, then one morning it wouldn't power up. I know that there is power getting to the head unit: If I press the "disp" key on the front panel of the JVC the clock on the head unit would illuminate for a few seconds, then go out. It will also accept and reject discs without any problem....

It seems that Skoda didn't even deem it necessary to add wiring to the ISO for the rear speakers, never mind anywhere else.
