Hello! The cd-unit DEH-P55BT display is werry bright and it gets really annoying while driving at night. Is there any possibility to reduce the brightness? I looked behind the unit and I dont see any wiers marked as ILLUMINATION or ILL etc. And the manual does'nt refer to any possibilities in that direction. Is really the only possibility to flip the panel open?!

Just brainstorming as I'll be changing the car next year... Car is a 2003 Audi A4 Quattro. Currently got a Sony MDX-CA580 head unit, MDX-66LP MD changer and Connects2 iPodUnilink adaptor running through a JBL GTO-4000 amplifier powering the front speakers and 2x10" subs in the boot. Rears run through the Audi active system with a Vibe DeltaBox to boost the line levels.

Hi, I've had some battery problems lately... and the long and short of it is that I've locked up the audio system (the 3035 one) - the manual says I'll be given another chance to enter the correct code - which I have - after an hour of running. I replaced my factory fit VW Gamma headunit with a new Sony CDX-GT700 although i like the sound quality on cd and the rest of the unit The Fm/AM tuner is much poorer than the old unit I have the correct leads etc to power the aerial So which headunit is as good or even better on radio reception?
