Kenwood KDC-M4524 Repacement front face case by Stu
Is it possible to get hold a replacement case for the front face to this Kenwood MP3 CD receiver? I've dropped the cover a few too many times and now it's cracked and broken in two. Needn't be made Kenwood. Just something that front face fits securely... Stu

using ipod and cd changer in Peugeot by dq
I've currently got a Pug 307 SW which has the factory fitted radio cassette head unit and a 5 disc in - dash Cd changer. I'd like to buy an Ipod, and connect it to the head unit via the aux in socket, which is already occupied by the CD changer cable. Does anyone know of a source of splitter cables to allow you to do this ? The ideal situation would be to be able to use the steering wheel...

Replacement CD Player by Dr. Compynei
Had a Sony CDX-3160 in my Suzuki X-90 (4 Speakers). Anyway, I dropped the bloody front of it on the car park at work, and as I'm currently working in a theme park it would seem one of the kids has seen fit to use it as a football. Anyway.... I'm after a decent head unit. Looking to spend around £70. CD Player and FM Tuner, with RDS and CD Text if possible. Want something decent quality like...

DAB Aerial for Blaupunkt DAB54 by dsch04
Hi, I've got a DAB54 which came with an internal glass mount aerial. It worked, but it wasn't great. Then it got broken when I had my windscreen replaced (don't ask, I'm still arguing with Autoglass). So, I need a replacement aerial. I've currently got a combined AM/FM/GSM beesting mounted on the rear of my Golf, and ideally, I'd like to get something similar but covering

Dab aerial converter by ~Alex~
Greetings, I've just purchased a JVC KD LHX-601 dab head unit which has been fitted to my normal FM aerial and is working fine, albeit with no dab stations. I was considering getting a combined DAB/FM antenna (http://www.lowcostcaraudio.co.uk/shop.php?category=%2Fdab%2F&product=1540) but apart from the fact they are like gold dust, I don't really fancy trying to get the old aerial out and...

Renault Clio '05 stalk control to Sony Headunit which adaptors? by Ben
Hi, I recently purchased a new 05 model Clio Freeway Authentique. Originally it had a radio/cassette player fitted, a 'Tuner List' (not sure of the manufacturer?) model with the display on the headunit not externally on the dash. I've upgraded this to a Sony CDX-F7750 CD player, and I would like to still use the stalk controls. I've looked into this and I am aware I will require an adaptor for...

MP3 from a CD changer? by Dave W
I recently bought a Ford Focus fitted with one of their '6000CD' audio units. According to the manual, even a CD changer will not give it MP3 ability. In a Ford parts shop today, I saw a Sony CD changer, suitable for the 6000CD, and it was marked with "DA Converter", I think. If the DAC is in the changer, is it logical to assume that soon the changers will give MP3 ability to ordinary CD...

Blaupunkt Aux in cable by [email protected]
Hi. I just installed a Blaupunkt aux-in cable into my Blaupunkt Lausanne. Doesnt work. The sound from my portable is very quiet and seems out of phase (like all the stuff in the centre of the mix is cancelled out). Its not the portable because it works with my home stereo. I noticed that pulling the jack out of the portable slighly improves matters considerably so I wondered of the wiring was...

RC629 RDS by Philippo
Hello, Can anyone help me with the following? I am looking for documentation of the Philips Car stereoset RC629 RDS. This set has on the rear a number of "standard" connectorblocks and a line in jack. The doc set I have is such a poor one. I am also very interested in the details of the so called mouse EA2001 for remote control. Reason: I'd like to use this set for the audio part of digitenne...

Car radios and computers and things by Nigel
Hi I have a boat which is fitted with a Pioneer Radio/Cassette/ CD changer.. and two speakers it's nothing very special but does the job well enough.. I also use a laptop computer aboard and the sound system on the laptop is dreadful.. so it occurred to me that maybe I could buy an amp for me wireless that had a aux input where I could plug in the laptop and run the audio output from the...

Blaupunkt ISO C10 connector by AndyC
I have an old Paris RCR41 radio cassette, it has an ISO 10 pin connector that I assume was for adding a CD changer. I want to use this to take an input from an mp3 player. No adapters seem to be listed for this unit as it's so old. The question is, it this possible? Which pins to use, and how to get the unit to recognise that it has an aux input? AndyC

Car CD player jumps all the time by paulfoel
Got a Ministry of Sound CD/MP3 player in my car. Trouble is the smallest bump and the CD jumps. Also, strangely when I brake heavily the CD jumps. Does'nt happen with MP3 CDs (does the player pre-read these or something?). Any ideas what I can do to stop this? Can I buy a vibration dampening kit or something for the stereo slot ?

Kenwood CD Changer by Nick \(UK\)
Hope someone can help. I have a 10 Disc CD changer which has failed, the only problem is the magazine is stuck inside full of discs. Is there a way of manually releasing the magazine? I think the reason for failure was inserting the magazine into the changer when the car's battery was flat. Cheers.
