Fiat Punto Stereo Help... by
Andrew W
Hi, I recently got a 1998 Fiat Punto 85 sx, the stereo cassette player
inside it has buttons for a cd changer, after reading bits and bobs on the
net, I found the Philips RC026 was meant to be the one for it, so I managed
to one up cheaply.
The problem I have is that the connector at the end is totally the wrong
shape to plug into the back of the stereo, and looking at the manual it says
the...

Fiesta "02" speakers by
James Mourby
Anyone know (without me taking my doors off and fiddling about with a tape
measure) what size speakers are in the ford fiesta freestyle (02 reg). 6 in
total, 2 door tweeters, 2 kickspace and 2 rear.
I was going to ask about speakers as well, but i'm not going to be
responisble for a coax vs 6x9 fight :p

JVC KD-SH99 or a Clarion DXZ738RMP? Help Please by
Benje
Basically I'm looking to get an MP3 headunit, but I also want a aux in,
without having to buy a further adaptor.
Has anyone got any opinions on the above two units?
The JVC is £200, but am I right in thinking its nearly two years old? Also
can anyone confirm if there is a big gap between playing mp3 tracks on
either of the units and if there is can anyone recommend a unit which doesnt
have a 2...

98 civic ex aftermarket radio problem by
Greg
My wife has a 98 civic ex and the stock radio is only an AM/FM setup. So,
about two years ago we went and got a aftermarket radio w/cd player. They
had to jumper the wire from the old radio and leave it behind the dash so
the keyless entry and dome light will still work. Here is the the
problem....after about a year the radio started getting a high pitched noise
that could be heard all the...

Sony XRCA370X CD Changer by
Adam Grant
I have the Sony XRCA370X cd changer, my problem is CD text. The unit will
display the CD title and artist but not the individual track titles, the
actual cds are fine as I have tried them in my mates cd player. So what am I
doing wrong, or is this model simply not capable of displaying individual
track titles.

Newbie - FM Modulator / Broadcaster to link MP3 player toexisting car radio by
Mark Faithfull
Does anyone have experience of using an FM Modulator / broadcaster to link a
portable device, in my case an apple ipod mp3 player, to an existing car
hifi.
In my case I have a Nissan primera with the sat-nav and bespoke audio unit
so there is little hope of trying to connect it in directly but the FM route
sounds less disruptive.
Anyone done something similar/ can recommend devices and or...

Sony CDX changer problem reading mp3s. by
Ross
I've just had a Sony CDX-T70MX changer installed in an Audi A6, with an
adaptor to make it compatible with the Audi Concert head unit. When playing
mp3 files that I've burned to a CD, I find that the changer will play the
mp3 files OK, but if I try to skip to the next track or go back to another
one, it just goes back to the first mp3 in the list and starts again. It
doesn't seem to recognise...

Seicento bass advice by
Tim Anderson
Hi all,
I have just gone out and bought a new pram.... Just when I bought the car
we find that out :-) could I have bought a worse car for this situation?
Anyway, because of my sub, although a better design for the tiny car than most, I cannot
fit much in the boot.
The sub I built basically sits from left to right in the well of the boot,
this leaves just over half free, I can squash the pram in...

Removing Pioneer DEH-1330R? by
Roger Barker
A previous owner of my car fitted a Pioneer DEH-1330R. I want to remove
it to sort out the wiring, but I don't have the "supplied extraction
keys" mentioned in the installation instructions.
Is it possible to get it out (without damaging it) without the keys?

No MW Reception by
Kezmondo
I recently replaced the factory stereo in my Seat Ibiza with a Pioneer
DEH-P3500MP. All is fine, except I get extremely bad MW reception now.
It was fine before, but is now almost inaudible. The FM reception is
perfect.
Not sure if it's relevant, but I had to buy one of those ISO-DIN
aerial adaptor things
(http://www.halfords.com/shop/item.asp?id=130997).
Any ideas/solutions to my MW woe? Don't...

8 cm CD in card CD player possible? by
Morten Espeland
I have a Panasonic CQ-RDP383 CD/MP3/WMA player, and I have
some 8 cm cds that I have used with another player. So far I have not
dared to try the 8cm discs in the car player. The manual states that you
should not use irregularly shaped cds, but an 8cm disc is not irregular, is
it?
Does anybody know something about 8cm discs and car cd players?
PS: I am very satisfied with the player.
