Hi All, I've just replaced my 2 year old Kenwood Z838W with the new KDC-PSW9527 head unit. (My car is a 2002 Toyota Celica 190 - the Z838 was a replacement for the standard Sony double-DIN CD/cassette/receiver.) The 9527 has a problem. Try as I might, I cannot get the clock to sync with the RDS time signal. It mentions in the manual that this may take "3-4 minutes", but I've sat with it tuned...

My 2 year old stereo stopped last week and would only display a Blaupunkt scrolling message and no sound. If I pressed any button the message would freeze and start up again several minutes later. I have just bought a '98 Vauxhall Corsa which has the most basic stereo in it. It does not turn on and off with the ignition. Looking in the manual only the higher spec ones do this. My question is if I get hold of a second hand higher spec stereo is it a straight swap or will I have to add or change the wiring for this this feature to work? Thanks in advance for any advice. I have a Panasonic MP3 Head from the old car and want to use it (fro MP3 discs) in the new one. What do I need to do to connect a second unit so that the in-dash one can be used for radio and the Panasonic for discs ? BJ

I'm thinking of getting something better but also leaving the manufacturers stereo and hiding the new one somewhere (like the glovebox). Has anybody done this sort of thing? Just bought a 406 exec. HDi estate everything seems great except the quality of the radio and the sound itself. Hello, just bought a Goodmans GCE7007DAB for the car to replace the tape deck in there. One of the main reasons I bought it (apart from being £99) was that the website (http://www.goodmansdigital.co.uk/GCE7007.htm) says that it has an aux. input.
