I have had a search for my question, but was unable to find an answer, I hope that you guys can help I have a 5-year Sony MD HU that is connected to a 3-year Sony MD changer. I would now like to replace my HU with a Kenwood MP3 CD HU, but would like to keep the MD changer as well. Is it possible to connect the Sony changer to the Kenwood HU?

I have recently had my car at the local garage and they have had to dismantly the dashboard to replace my heater matrix. On return of the car something odd had happened to the controls of my car radio. I am using the XR-C450RDS with cd changer CDX-605. I have a steering column remote. When I pressed volume up the radio was a maximum volume, when i press volume down the unit goes to mute mode....

Hiya! I've got yesterday a sony MP40 and it seems to be cool! It is cheap ,good-sounding and fast! (at least in comparison with me previous stolen pioneer 7400mp). At the backside of the unit there is a pair of rca connectors marked as "aux in". What the hell is that? Can i connect there my portable minidisc player? But how can i select the aux from the HU?

OK, the new Headunit got delivered today. Opened the box, and discovered no wiring loom, but what looked like standard ISO sockets on the back. Both the other cheaper HU's I have bought in the last couple of years had ISOs on short wiring looms/harnesses (adding to a bigger bunch of wires behind the dash). I've fitted a Saab loom - ISO adaptor to the car to get the other HUs

I understand that RDS-TMC is now broadcast in the UK alongside the Classic FM signal. I've a Merc Command system which is supposed to be RDS-TMC enabled. I've also installed the latest discs. I've set up the unit to create routes using RDS-TMC, and the radio then retunes automatically to Classic FM, but I've yet to see any traffic messages on the screen. Some questions: 1.
