I've asked everywhere locally and apparantly the 2nd remote has lost it's "pairing" with the system but nobody seems to know how to re-program it into the system! Can anybody out there help...

WTB Fascia 'Trim Plate' for JVC CD player by Ben
Hi I've a JVC CD Receiver (model KD-S656R) which has a damaged plastic part that i'm looking to replace. I'm having trouble locating one as I do not know where to start looking. In the manual it describes it as a 'Trim Plate', its the surround that clicks onto the front of the unit once installed in the car. One of the catches (pretty flimsy) is broken so it no longer stays on.

Wireless device by Jim Murray
Seen a device which allows you to use a standalone MP3 player to work through the FM radio in your car:- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1056899518024&skuId=5755426&type= product Looks like a better alternative to the cassette adapter solution. Anyone got any experience of it re. sound quality and ease of use? Jim.

Kenwood Z838W Problem ? by H
I got a new Z838W for Christmas, and very nice it is too. Problem is, I had to send it back to the supplier because of the problem below (will be replaced etc.). Out of interest, does anyone know what it was, or could be? Any radio station, no matter how local/strong the signal had a high pitched whistle/buzz in the background. When you switched to CD playback, the whistle was still audible...

Kenwood 4524G in Fiat by Neil
Just had a 4524G installed to replace OEM Blaupunkt radio/cassette. The OEM radio powered off when the ignition was turned off and could be switched on again, the Kenwood needs to be manually powered off when the ignition is switched off. Does anyone know if this is a feature (!) or is it wired in wrong ? Also should the display be permanantly illuminated ? Cheers, Neil

I simply want to use the output of a portable DAB radio and have it play over the car's system..... Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks Darren

Renault Blaupunkt by Petr Mar¹įk
Some months ago I bought Renault Laguna I (production 09.1996). I have Blaupunkt dedicated radio (cassette with tuner, with own LCD display) in my car, but unfortunately without any Blaupunkt model name. Only "Blaupunkt" name on front panel and renault sign on label on top. I want to connect new CD charger (or CD/MP3 portable player) but I have no information about connectors (my opinion it...

17cm components - Alpine or Phase Linear? by Jason Smith
My 1995 Audi S6 has tiny 10cm components that I want to replace with 17cm components.. I realise that I'll have to build door mounts for them and I've already lined the doors with dynamat. I'm leaning towards the Phase Linear PC165.20 speakers, but can find no reviews or information on the web at all about them. - I have Phase Linear amps, so I would hope that they would sound good together.
