I have a Pioneer DEX-P99R, which fails to display any CD Text. It also has this strange thing where radio station RDS info, is right aligned, and usually missing characters off to the right. There's certainly space on the matrix display but it doesn't scroll across. I also can't get it to access the CD Name menus. Anyone else had problems with this or similar Pioneer head unit ?

Anyone know how to resynchronise a GT 142 car alarm? No signs of life from it at all, car has been standing for about 6 months, charged the battery, alarm went off, then was silenced by pressing the alarm button. love the look of this unit...simple and stylish...it says its a cd tuner...where is the cd player? is it behind the front panel or do i need a cd multichanger as well? steve
