I want to get a Radio Mic to use while DJing, as I am getting feed up having leads trailing everywhere I have been looking at the Samson XLR snap. Although I have a couple of concerns. Should I spend the extra a get the True Diversity, even though most of the time I am going to only be a few meters away from the receive, and never more than 30ish if I go into the crowd.

I noticed that Halfords are selling the Sony XS-L121P5 woofer for 50 quid. Can't find the Thiele-Small parameters but it seems comparable to the Peerless XLS 830500 (180 pounds), Fs at 18 Hz or so, big Xmax and power handling. Any opinions about using these car-stereo woofers as subs now that Sky+ with optical digital output is available cheaply? --

Forgive me if what I ask seems ignorant, but does anyone know of any methods which can be utilised (with particular reference to CEP2 or Adobe Audition 1.0) which will create smooth recordings from a mic. Hi guys, We've just inherited the above mini-disc model and haven't a clue how to use them! I want to transfer the data from the minidisc to my PC, and we on;y have this portable model, nothing to allow it to be incorperated into a hi-fi.
