Absolutely. I have discerning ears. You just like distortion. There's a

Where can I get a cheap IEC socket punch? by
Andy Evans
Since the morons who designed the socket failed to realise that there is a very
limited supply of rectangular hole saws, this requires us to either bodge or
look for a punch that costs less than £40. Any ideas?

Subwoofer for music? by
Doki
I've currently got an Arcam Alpha 3 (40WPC) and a pair of KEF Cresta 2s.
Would adding a sub be useful, or would my money be better spent on a pair of
floorstanders? Neither would be particularly expensive kit (probably a £150
budget).

simple portable digital recorder for speech? by
Jim Lesurf
I am considering buying a small portable sound recorder, and would be
interested in suggestions/recommendations people may be able to make that
would suit the following requirements, etc.
The recorder will be used to record spoken word discussions, not music.
Hence it need not be of outstanding 'hi fi' quality, but I'd obviously like
good clear speech recordings to be possible. The main idea is...
