Has anyone any info on the Chinese valve amps floating around on e -bay? I am thinking of going to valve amplification as I am predominately listening to more mellow stuff and the hardest thing I listen to is the doors. I am trying to source a couple of audio attenuators to reduce the level between source and line level input (-3dB, -6dB). These to be based on RCA phono connectors. Such a product used to be available for early CD players. I have searched Maplin & RadioSpares sites without success. Any helpful thoughts? JB

Anyone got/tried a Roberts Gemini 6 DAB/FM receiver? It's a lot more expensive than an Evoke, especially with the Argos offer, but I think it's shape and format are more suitable for use as a bedside radio which is what I'd use it for. Any comments? Thanks in advance

Bit of a beginner question.... I've been looking for one of those 'under cupboard' CD-radio units for ages and just can't find one for sale in the UK.
