This is an old chestnut to some of us seasoned lurkers and internet junkies. Here we go... You can download a programme called Total Recorder, for free. Search Google to find it. Install it, its quite safe. The default set up will record any sound on your computer. (You have to change the setting if you are sending the sound via a line in ur usb device)

Hi there, I have just bought (via ebay) a standard Renault cd changer unit (made by Alpine) that was taken from a 2003 Clio. A was hoping to fit it to the head unit for my T reg 1999 Megane Scenic. Unfortunately the lead that arrived with the changer has a different head unit connector then that required for my standard radio/cassette head unit (Phillips / Radiosat 6010 model 22dc461.)

I was looking for a dvd player (cheap) to play audio dvds (books) in mp3 format but can't find a cheap one with a headphone socket so I was thinking that I couls connect the l/r audio out sockets (available on most dvd players) to a pair of headphones - would this work?
